Buckle Up! With the 2008 show season all pretty much wrapped up at Valley View Stables, LLC, we are proud to make the following announcement. As well as mentoring her students this summer, Jennifer Donnelly was also showing her horse, GT Casual Cowboy. While Jen was at shows mentoring her students, she was also competing in the Senior Division of the West 20 Ranch & Saddle Company Open Pleasure Series. As a reward for all her hard work, Jen earned the Grand award in her division - and a big shiny buckle custom made by the Montana Silversmiths! Congratulations Jennifer!

What a year for students and boarders alike at the 2008 Walworth County Fair! Some showed one day, some showed two - others showed all week! It was a busy time, a fun time and a prosperous time! Horses, owners and students are breathing a sigh today as they reflect on all that was accomplished in the last week. We can't send enough thanks to all the boarders, partners, parents and students for all the hard work setting up, participating and tearing down our yearly event. We aren't out of the woods yet, there are a few more shows lurking out there. Visit often for updates! Also, check our our Photos page for the latest photos of fun at the fair!

Students of Y&D Performance Horses have participated in the Open Horse Show Series at West 20 Ranch & Saddle Company in East Troy. They have been competitive and have brought home many ribbons! We are proud of our students here at Valley View Stables, LLC! Be sure to come out and cheer them on this Saturday, August 2 for their 4th appearance in this Open Horse Show Series at West 20!

Y&D Performance Horses Take Students to Their First Show of the Year
at West 20 Ranch and Saddle Company!
Students Alex Chernouski and Mitchell Jrolf competed Saturday at the first of a series of five Open Horse Shows at the West 20 Ranch and Saddle Company in East Troy. Alex and Mitchell, students under the instruction of Jennifer Donnelly, have put in a lot of time practicing and preparing for this first show, and the fruits of their labor paid off! Alex brought home first, second and fifth place ribbons while Mitchell brought home second and third place ribbons. Congratulations girls and keep up the good work. Also, a special thanks to Shawn Donnelly, the chauffeur, and all the parents who helped make the day great!
